The Level 1 Certification Course is an INTERMEDIATE course, aimed at those with considerable volleyball knowledge and some knowledge of Sitting Volleyball who wish to become International Technical Officials.
The Course focuses on the areas needed to act as a Jury Member at Zone Level events.
Once this online self-directed theory component is completed, you will be required to attend an event, taking on Jury Member roles for your practical assessment to become a fully accredited Level 1 Technical Official.

The Level 2 Technical Official Course is aimed at those who have had experience as a Jury Member and wish to further their knowledge and experience and be considered for appointments as a Jury Member at certain World level events or an Assistant Technical Delegate at Zone level events.
It is usual that candidates are already fully accredited at Level 1, however, recognised prior learning or experience may be considered upon application to the Education Coordinator.
Level 2 International Technical Officials carry high-level responsibilities, so a thorough knowledge of all aspects of the game and conduct of the matches and competitions is crucial.
The structure of the course is similar to Level 1 with an online theory component followed by a practical assessment at an event plus a ‘seen’ exam to be completed in your own time.
